Who We Are

K.G. Waterman

K.G. Waterman is the founder of Peach Scone Press, where design, storytelling, and accessibility intersect. Her career began in strategic marketing on small and large scale projects; later jumping into an entirely different sector. She dove head-first into the darker corners of the criminal justice system, and when it was time to go home, she just couldn't let the untold stories go.

With experience rooted in the many dimensions of what it means to be human, she brings a distinct lens to publishing—balancing structure with a deep respect for voice, context, and impact.

Her work has been recognized for journalism, human rights advocacy, and community-driven initiatives. She remains committed to supporting people and ideas that make space for the stories that don’t always get told.

She is a mother of five, and her children are her entire world.

“Authors do not choose a story to write, the story chooses us.”

Richard P. Denney
